VeinStay

VeinStay

Clarion Research Group has created the solution to accurate venipunctures, saving time and reducing patient discomfort.

Getting it right the first time

Nobody likes multiple “sticks” when getting blood drawn or having an IV started. However, roughly one-third of venipuncture attempts fail and must be redone. Clarion Research Group’s VeinStay device shows promise for reducing the number of failed “sticks”. VeinStay has been shown to increase the success rate of first venipuncture by more than 20 percent in a recent clinical trial.

Depend on VeinStay for difficult situations

The patented and FDA-registered VeinStay has been proven to assist medical professionals with challenging conditions. VeinStay tines press against a patient’s skin, straddling the intended vein. The tines make the vein more apparent and hold it in place, making it easier to see and control “rolling veins.” The space between the tines varies to accommodate various vein widths.

The future looks promising

Primary Health Network (PHN), a prominent health care facility, recently conducted a clinical trial for the VeinStay device to explore all of its possible applications. Based on these additional trial results, Clarion Research Group is pursuing commercialization of the VeinStay.
